Terms & Conditions (Studio Service Agreement)
- Defines what is included in the project proposal or contract.
- States that timelines (e.g., 14-day sprints) rely on the client providing assets, copy, and feedback promptly. Client delays pause the sprint timeline.
- Final Transfer: Full copyright of final approved deliverables transfers to the client only after 100% of the invoice is paid.
- Studio Promotion Rights: The studio retains the right to display the completed work, process artifacts, and case studies in portfolios, social media, and award submissions (unless a formal NDA is signed prior).
- Unused Concepts: All rejected or unused concepts, preliminary sketches, and working files remain the sole property of the studio.
- Payment terms (e.g., 50% upfront deposit / 50% prior to handoff, or 100% upfront for fast sprints).
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Late payment fees or project pause rules if invoices are delayed past due dates.
- Defines the exact number of revision rounds included in the agreement.
- Specifies that any requests outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately as additional scope items.
- Outline what happens if a client cancels midway through a project (e.g., studio keeps the deposit and bills for work completed to date).
- Caps studio financial liability strictly to the total amount paid by the client for that specific contract.
